I’ve been working with children for the past eight years, and caring for little ones has always been my passion. In December 2021, I opened my first childcare centre in Port Alberni, making a lifelong dream come true with Mt. Arrowsmith Infant & Toddler Care.

Becoming a mom myself in 2023 has only deepened my love for this work. Watching my son grow reminds me every day of how special these early years are. I find so much joy in seeing children discover the world, reach new milestones, and develop their own unique personalities.

For me, childcare is about about creating a safe, loving space where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated. I cherish the bonds I get to build with each child and their family, and I feel truly grateful to be part of their journey.

Hi my name is Himanshi. I completed a two year Early Childhood Education program in Ontario, which gave me a solid understanding of child development and early learning. After finishing my studies I moved to BC to continue working in the field. I genuinely enjoy being around children and love supporting them as they grow, learn, and explore the world around them. Working with childhood is something I’m really passionate about. I feel lucky to be part of their early years and to help create a positive and caring environment for them.

Hello, my name is Jasleen Kaur. I am an Infant and Toddler Early Childhood Educator and a graduate of Sheridan College in Ontario. I have experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, and I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow.As an only child, I was always drawn to spending time with younger children, which inspired me to pursue early childhood education. I recently moved from Ontario to British Columbia and am excited to begin this new chapter, supporting children and their families in their learning journeys.
